How to Stay Human in an Inhumane Political Climate
Quiet resistance, practical power, and the art of not losing your soul.
This is a practical series on staying oriented, protecting yourself, and remaining human in a political climate designed to exhaust and divide.

- Part II: What to Do If You’re Unfairly Treated (And Where to Turn)
- Part III: Resistance Doesn’t Have to Be Loud to Be Effective
- Part IV: How to Show Disdain Without Burning Your Life Down
- Part V: Mutual Aid: How People Take Care of Each Other When Systems Don’t
- Part VI: The Refusal to Be Normal
- Part VII: Staying Human Over the Long Haul
Author’s Note
I didn’t write this series to persuade anyone or to offer easy answers. It came out of paying attention, asking hard questions, and trying to stay oriented in a moment that makes that increasingly difficult. Everything here is offered in the spirit of steadiness rather than certainty—an attempt to name what many people feel but don’t always have language for.
If this series helped you feel less alone, more grounded, or simply more honest with yourself, then it did what it was meant to do. Staying human is not a grand gesture. It’s a daily practice – often quiet, more times imperfect, but ALWAYS worth the effort.
