Gramma Hickox’s Woodville Hotdish

Gramma Hickox's Woodville Hotdish

This is one of my favourite recipes from my childhood.  My mom used to make it when we’d go camping or on picnics with friends and relatives.  In fact, that’s how it got it’s name… the first time we had it was in Woodville, Wisconsin. 🙂

I now make it for my children and they all love it also!

Gramma Hickox's Woodville Hotdish

1 box of “O” pasta
1 lb Hamburger
1/3 onion
1/3 green pepper
1 can chicken noodle soup
1 can corn
1 can chunk chicken
Wonton Noodles

I have also started adding 1 tsp of garlic salt to it to enhance the flavor :).

First, boil the “O” pasta. While they are cooking, brown green pepper and onion. Add 1 lb hamburger and Brown. Mix in Chicken noodle soup, corn and chunk chicken.

Drain noodles and combine hamburger mix. Stir. Top with Wonton noodles.

Serve and Enjoy!
