How Our Governments are Killing Us
And It Is Really Quite Shocking!
That’s right… our governments, who claim to be looking out for us, are trying to kill us!
“Huh?” You ask. “What do you mean, Michelle? How can you say this?”
It’s very easy. Just look around you. Go into any establishment – be it a store, casino, restaurant, church; whatever… it doesn’t matter. Look at the people who are there. What do most of them have in common? We’re not talking race, religious beliefs, or any of the other things that people usually think of when you ask them to differentiate peoples.
No, we’re talking physically.
RIGHT! Most people are OBESE. And, most of those people are, unfortunately, Morbidly Obese.
Now, some people are genetically predisposed to being overweight. Some people have diseases or disorders which cause them to be overweight.
But MOST of us (myself, included) are needlessly overweight due to ONE FACT.
WE EAT THE WRONG STUFF. And, we eat too much of it.
And, our governments are SHOVING this overprocessed CRAP that they call food, DOWN OUR THROATS!
“How are they doing this?”, You ask.

Carbs, Fats, & Sugars
We’ve heard for the past 40 years or so that carbs and fats were the culprits. That they are the things responsible for making us fat and keeping us that way. There are literally libraries full of books about this diet or that diet, which are supposed to help solve the problem; when in actual fact, they are PART of the problem!
See, the body NEEDS Carbs; it NEEDS fats, to a degree. It needs these things to burn, for energy.
Last night, my family sat down and watched on YouTube – a very enlightening talk by Robert H. Lustig, M.D., M.S.L. Professor Lustig is the Professor emeritus of Pediatrics, Division of Endocrinology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). In this video, he went into exquisite detail about this very subject. He can explain it a whole lot better than I can, so I encourage, no, I EMPLORE, you to also watch this.
Now, it is about an hour and a half long, so you may want to set aside a time to watch it. There are other videos, which are abridged, but you don’t get the full story when you only watch them.
So, without further Adieu… I introduce to you – Professor Robert H. Lustig.

So, What Are You Going to Do About This?
After I watched that talk, I made the conscious decision to change my diet. No more Fructose. No more added sugar. More fiber. I was going to start reading labels.
When I went to Aldi’s today, I checked out the labels of most of my favorite foods. Well, needless to say – I will no longer be eating most of them. They are all high in sugars, fructose and low in fiber.
I want to challenge each and every one of you to help me in an experiment. Join me in cutting sugars out for at least 2 weeks. See how you feel. And, let me know in the comments below.
