Soft Walnut Cookies

2 eggs separated (2 egg whites & 2 egg yolks)
4 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 cups fine ground walnuts
1 tsp water

Soft Walnut Cookies Baking Instructions

  • First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  • Next, gently whip egg whites to firm peaks. Then add 2 tbsp sugar & whip until incorporated. Set mixture aside.
  • Whip the 2 egg yolks with 2 tbsp sugar until they are light and creamy. Add 1 tsp lukewarm water. Continue whipping the egg and sugar mixture until it is light and creamy again.
  • Now, sift in the flour. Once you have done this, you will add the ground walnuts and fold into mixture. Using 1/5 of the egg whites, stir in until everything is blended. Finally, fold the remaining egg whites into the mixture.
  • Spoon mixture onto Oblaten (makes 10)

74 g (150 pieces) 2 boxes of 37 g each (75 pieces) Ingredients: whole wheat flour, starch, sunflower oil

Put them Walnut cookies into the oven for 15 minutes and reduce the heat to 250 degrees. Continue to bake for another 20 minutes.

Remove from the oven, cool and enjoy!
