The Sorcerer’s Workshop

The Sorcerer’s Workshop is an original drawing done by me in October 2020. Because of the pandemic, I had to come up with some way to spend my days – so I turned to an old pastime – drawing. I have to say that I am really quite proud of The Sorcerer’s Workshop :-).
Since then, I have created over 3000 pieces of artwork, although more recently I have graduated from pencil and paper to using an iPad and an iPencil. My artwork has become more abstract and unusual. I don’t do much of the pencil and paper art, especially since I have discovered mediums – AI art and Fractal Art.
I love the freedom of expression that drawing gives me – even more so than writing. With writing, the author has to build characters, write a plot that keeps the reader engrossed until the end of the story, then they must deliver an ending that finalizes everything and wraps it all up into a nice, tidy ending.
When drawing, the artist doesn’t need to worry about keeping everything nice and tidy. The story can be told in any way that it wants – it is up to you to decide what works and what doesn’t.
